How it Works

THE GRANT PROCESS

Grant Nomination Process

Our pilot program is focused on recently housed individuals and families.

Our grant process is simple. Community partners, case workers, and advocates can nominate individuals, or an applicant can nominate themselves.

A short form is required describing the space, what feels missing, and how a grant could help. Approved grantees will be matched with a grant tier and paired with someone from our volunteer network.

Over time, we will scale to serve more people, while always keeping the human touch at the heart of what we do.

Grants

Our grants are items, not cash. Our pilot program will offer three tiers of grants based on need. Each grantee will select items from a look book of options that best reflect their vision of home.

  • $250 Grants: Small touches—blanket or bedding, lamp, curtains, or potted plants—that soften and brighten a room.

  • $500 Grants: Multi-item refresh with paint or wallpaper, textiles, lighting, and greenery.

  • $1,000 Grants: More support with a mix of lighting, rugs, bedding, furniture accents, and natural elements.

Because we want every grant to meet the needs of the recipient, we will work with each grantee, review their living space, and assign a team member to work with them. This ensures that items are not just delivered but integrated to create the greatest impact.
